Mumbai, May 12 -- Ever since she made her Bollywood debut in 2008, Anushka Sharma has had a steady stream of releases. After having only one film last year, in January, she's returning with three big projects this year.
And to ensure that they are ready on time, the actor has been shooting for five months at a stretch. In January, she completed the first schedule of NH10, which she is also co-producing. After that, Anushka headed to Sri Lanka for a month and- a-half to wrap up Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet. Since her return to India, the actor has headed to Rajasthan for the second leg of her co-production.
A source close to Anushka adds that the year is only set to get busier for her. "Apart from these two films, she will also constantly be travelling for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do. From her workout sessions to dance rehearsals for the film, it's taking up a lot of her time. She has lots of homework to do before joining the rest of the cast and crew for the shoot."
The actor will shoot for Zoya's film from mid-May. "She will return from Rajasthan on Tuesday (May 13) and start preparing to leave for that shoot, which is on a cruise liner. The month-long schedule will begin in the next 10 days," adds the source. Anushka's spokesperson confirms, "She has been on the move for her shoots for several months, and, even now, she is coming back just to complete her endorsement commitments, before leaving for Zoya's film."
