Mumbai, July 2 -- Film-maker Anurag Kashyap has been in the news for both personal and professional reasons. Following his separation from wife Kalki Koechlin, the director's upcoming film made headlines as he refused to add an anti-smoking disclaimer to it.
But now, he seems to have found solace in the Dalai Lama's words. The film-maker met the spiritual leader at the recently concluded Ladakh International Film Festival held in Leh. A source close to the director says, "Anurag's friends suggested that he should seek a meeting with His Holiness. The Dalai Lama was already present in Ladakh as he was preparing for his Kalachakra ceremony, which he conducted at the festival."
According to the source, Anurag sought help from the festival's organisers to arrange the meeting. "Both of them met for a brief time and discussed spirituality, relationships and work," adds the insider. Despite repeated attempts to contact him, Anurag remained unavailable for comment.
