Mumbai, Feb. 26 -- Film-maker Anurag Kashyap is all set to offer his support to Zeishan Quadri, whom he launched in the Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012) series.
Zeishan, who scripted both the films and acted in the second one, is going to make his directorial debut soon. And Anurag has decided to edit the film himself.
A source reveals, "When Anurag heard about Zeishan's film, he made a quick phone call to him and told him he wanted to watch it." Anurag, who got to know about the film through a common friend, loved the concept, but felt it needed some cuts.
Ask Zeishan about this and he says, "Anurag sir is my inspiration for getting into direction. I wanted to show him my film once it was ready. In any case, it would have never gone for release without his approval."
Zeishan, who considers himself lucky to get Anurag's immense support, says, "He loved the film, but felt we needed to work on its length. Without giving a second thought, he immediately said that he would personally edit it."
