New Delhi, Nov. 28 -- Anu Malik recently became a primary member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. However, the music composer says that he is not interested in politics or in participating in elections.
"Neither am I joining politics nor will I be contesting elections. My duty is to be with the party whenever it needs me to campaign for issues that will benefit the city, and work for its betterment. I believe my efforts will definitely make a difference," he says.
Malik is ready with a list of issues which, he says, need to be resolved quickly. "I want Mumbai's traffic woes to end. I've also been inspired by The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and I will take it forward. Work will also be done to provide better medical facilities to the needy," says Malik.
He also wants the public to join him. "I'll also ask people to work with me. I don't mind sweeping the roads, and I'm confident that my neighbours and friends will join me while I take up issues for the city's betterment," he says.
