Mumbai, March 10 -- The stage was set. The red carpet had been rolled out, and there was a sense of excitement in the air. Then, someone ran into the ballroom, announcing, "Shah Rukh Khan has arrived."
The night had begun. Shah Rukh had a shoot later that night, so he came in early to grace the Hindustan Times Mumbai's Most Stylish 2014 event. And boy, are we glad he did! From Bollywood's most stylish actors and directors, to singers, TV stars, entrepreneurs and athletes, on Saturday (March 8) evening, we managed to get some of the hottest people in the city in one room.
King Khan set the tone for the evening when he and Kajol ran towards each other in slow-mo, leaving the audience in splits. Then onward, the exclusive event saw a series of fun moments that included some impromptu dancing, singing and a lot of laughter. Host Manish Paul made sure he kept all the winners and presenters on their feet with his wit and humour.
Braving a back injury, Sonakshi Sinha made a stunning entry in a peach Shantanu & Nikhil gown. While Priyanka Chopra came all the way from Mira Road (man, did she look dazzling in a Victoria Beckham backless outfit), Deepika Padukone flew down from Delhi.
In a glittering Diane von Furstenberg dress and smoky eyes, she made a late appearance, and stole the show with ease. To see more of what happened at Hindustan Times Mumbai's Most Stylish 2014, keep turning the pages of this special edition.
