Mumbai, Nov. 9 -- Sonam Kapoor has just started shooting for the remake of the 1980 film, Khoobsurat, in Rajasthan. The actor is accompanied by her sibling Rhea Kapoor, the producer of the film. While Sonam's preparations to get into the shoes of the lead character, which was originally essayed by Rekha, has made many headlines, what's interesting is that the siblings also plan to indulge in some sightseeing while they are in Rajasthan. What's more, their father, Anil Kapoor has decided to turn guide and has given them a to-do list which will help them explore the best of the state.
Anil, who has shot in the state for the Yash Chopradirected Lamhe in 1991, seems to have explored Rajasthan before. "Anil has visited quite a few places there. He had also taken strolls in the desert and visited other attractions while he was there. He wants his daughters to make the most of their visit to the state during the shoot," says a source close to the actor.
A night before Sonam and Rhea took off for Rajasthan, they sat together to discuss the things that they could do during their visit. "Sonam and Rhea had a long conversation with Anil, who took a trip down memory lane and shared his experiences with his daughters. Both Sonam and Rhea heard his stories and made a list of things to do," adds the source.
When contacted, Sonam says, "We have a special connect with Rajasthan. My dad had shot Yash ji's Lamhe here."
