Mumbai, June 4 -- Ever since her last appearance as an actor in 2001, Pooja Bhatt has been working as a film-maker. And her sister, Alia Bhatt, is counted among one of the most successfully growing stars in Bollywood today.
There has some talk about the two coming together for a project (last year, rumours suggested that Pooja was keen to remake the 1991-film Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi with Alia and Ranbir Kapoor).
While Alia says that there are no "concrete" plans right now, she is positive about a professional partnership with Pooja and is "definitely looking forward" to it. "There's nothing at the moment. But I certainly plan to work with her. It will be very special for us. And, it will be a delight for our father (film-maker Mahesh Bhatt) to see us collaborate as he would have probably never expected that his daughters will come together to work on a film," says Alia.
Ask Alia if she dreams of working under her father's direction and she says, "We have talked about it a couple of times, but I know he will never direct again." But Alia is hopeful that her father will write a script for her. "He is a beautiful writer. I want him to write a script for me as I feel he is one of the best writers in the industry," she says.
