Mumbai, June 5 -- With its breathtaking landscapes, Ladakh is one of the most beautiful shooting locations in India. Since the region has a large number of army personnel stationed there, most film crews that come to shoot there also end up becoming friends with the jawans.
Akshay Kumar's next production, featuring boxer-turned-actor Vijender Singh, has been shot across 200 locations in Ladakh. So when the jawans, who had helped the crew in many ways during the shoot, requested the makers for a special screening of the film there, they agreed to organise not just any show, but the very first one.
When contacted, the film's director Kabir Sadanand says, "I come from an army background, so when I got the letter from the army requesting a screening, tears welled up in my eyes. I called them and told them that I will host the premiere of the film there."
The venue for the show will a unique one. "The event will be held at a cinema hall, which happens to be the world's highest theatre. I will attend it with my producer Ashwini Yardi," says Sadanand.
