Mumbai, Jan. 5 -- Ajay Devgn spent a quiet New Year's Eve with his family - wife Kajol, kids Nysa and Yug and his cousins - at their farmhouse in Panvel but little did he know that he was in for a chaotic experience upon his return to the city.
The actor was shooting for Prabhu Dheva's next, Action Jackson on Saturday (January 4) when an unruly crowd put a spanner in the works. "Passers-by spotted Ajay shooting on the streets in Oshiwara and gathered to catch a glimpse of the star. People blocked the road in their attempt to reach Ajay," says an eyewitness.
The source goes on to reveal that Ajay was shooting a scene where he was travelling in an autorickshaw. Onlookers were excited to see Ajay in the autorickshaw and tried to approach him," says the eyewitness.
However, the mob got out of control and Ajay's bodyguards were not able to manage the situation on their own. That's when the makers had to call the traffic police to help them out.
"The police came after half an hour. Ajay's personal guards tried their best to keep the crowd away from the actor, as much as possible. However, once the police arrived, things came under control and after a while the makers could resume the shoot," says the source.
