Mumbai, March 9 -- After two long schedules in Kashmir, the unit of Aditya Roy Kapur's upcoming film has now shifted to Delhi. As the actor has an intense role in the film - which is an adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations - he prefers to be on the sets as much as possible to stay in character.
An insider from the set says, "Aditya has been spending as much time as possible on the sets, watching the process of film-making and the performances of other actors."
The film that is being directed by Abhishek Kapoor also stars Katrina Kaif. The source reveals that Aditya waits on the set to watch her shoot her solo scenes as well.
"Aditya wants to stay in his character. Therefore, he likes being in the shooting environment. He even slept on the sets and freshened up in his vanity van on a few occasions," says the source, adding, "Aditya essays the role of an artist in the film and has also been trying to sketch as and when possible. He has been interacting with the director and crew, including the cameramen and assistant directors. They have been shooting for 12-14 hours a day, and are currently shooting mostly at night."
Aditya could not be reached for a comment.
