Mumbai, Feb. 8 -- He may not have too much free time since he started shooting for Habib Faisal's Daawat-E-Ishq, but when he does, Aditya Roy Kapur tries to make the most of it.
In between two hectic schedules of the film, the actor had a day's break, and he used the opportunity to throw a party for his friends.
"The party was planned at the last minute on Wednesday (February 5). He wanted to meet his close friends since a long time, so he invited them in the morning and almost everyone turned up that night. There were no industry folks; it was just his close friends from outside the industry who were present at the bash," says a source.
The actor not only hosted the bash, but he also decided to cook for his guests. "He lives alone in Bandra and is a wonderful cook. He tries his hand at new recipes and experiments with various dishes when he is at home. He prepared all the dishes himself, before his friends turned up for dinner," adds the source.
Aditya is delighted that he caught up with all his friends and that they loved the food too. "I have been busy with work, so when I got a day free, I called my friends over," says the actor, adding, "I have been learning to cook since I stay alone, so I thought of treating my friends with my cooking. Surprisingly, the food turned out really good."
