Mumbai, March 15 -- Over the past few years, Aditya Chopra's production house has ventured down south (with a remake of their hit Band Baaja Baaraat; 2010) as well as into Hollywood, with brother Uday looking to make more international films.
Now, we've heard that Aditya, along with actor-wife Rani Mukerji, is planning to enter the education sector too.
A source says, "For many people, Yash Chopra (late film-maker; Aditya's father) and his production house have been a source of learning. Also, given the lack of a proper film school of international calibre in India, Aditya has decided to launch one in the city."
Apparently, Rani will be the brand ambassador of the school. The source adds, "Plans are already in motion; details are being drawn up regarding the kind of courses that will be offered, and the reputed technicians that can be brought on board as lecturers."
When contacted, the spokesperson of the production house said, "We have several new projects in the preliminary discussion stage, education being one of them, but no project has gone beyond the exploratory phase."
