Mumbai, Oct. 27 -- If you're a fan of Abhishek Bachchan, we've got exciting news for you. After wowing everyone in his latest release, the actor will be seen in director Abhishek Sharma's (he made Tere Bin Laden in 2010) The Shaukeens.
It's not a long wait, since the film is slated to release in the first week of November. And in the comedy, Bachchan Jr will do a cameo. We're told that the makers approached Bachchan Jr with the idea just a few days back. At the time, the actor was busy promoting his latest release.
But the 38-year-old found the cameo so interesting, he took time out for it. The team doesn't want to reveal much about his role. Sharma only says that, while shooting, he had him in splits: "I had always heard that Abhishek has a great sense of humour. This time, I saw it for myself," says Sharma.
He says that when the actor gave the shot, he had a tough time controlling his own laughter: "I have become a huge Abhishek fan after this experience," Sharma says. The actor himself says he had a great time while shooting: "It was good fun," he says. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Shaukeens, produced by Murad Khetani, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde, releases on November 7.
