Mumbai, March 16 -- Do you have a signature fragrance or is there a note that you always look for in your perfumes?
I don't use colognes, as they tend to give me a blocked nose. I use aftershave. I tend to like more spicy scents.
Do you change your grooming routine/look only for a role? Or do you generally also stay updated about the latest trends?
I don't look for trends, so I do not follow them. Of course my grooming routine changes often as I play different characters [in films]. In between roles, I like to keep it simple.
If you had a nine-to-five job, what look would you sport?
Neat, side-parted hair, glasses and I would wear trousers with a shirt, along with semi-formal shoes.
One grooming product you can't part ways with?
My beard trimmer.
What is your Nykaa style quotient?
It's how you present yourself to the world. It's a hint about your personality. It can be a statement. Even not having style says a lot about a person.
Who is your style icon?
I don't have one. If Tom Ford is classy and well-groomed, Lady Gaga is quirky and sometimes ridiculous, but always fun. I take inspiration from various sources, but I always keep my style distinct from those I admire.
What is the one style advice you would give to men?
Don't try to impress, don't try to attract attention... don't 'try', period. Just be. Let the skin you live in be your Armani suit or your jeans and Tee.
