Mumbai, Jan. 3 -- Rajkumar Hirani's latest release, PK, has been doing great business at the box office. Now, in its third week, the film's collections are inching towards the 300 crore mark, which would make it the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
Delighted by the response, Hirani says, "Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the film will cross these numbers. It reinforces my belief that content is king." Figures that were shared with us by trade analyst Atul Mohan show that as on Wednesday (January 1), the film had made 278.52 cr domestically, and 132 cr overseas.
Mohan adds, "The film is likely to cross the 300 cr mark this weekend. This kind of money is great for a film with a social message."
