Mumbai, March 1 -- Since his last release Dhoom:3 (2013) was a blockbuster, there is a lot of speculation about Aamir Khan's next film. And although rumours suggest that he will act in Nitya Mehra's debut venture (to be produced by Farhan Akhtarr and Ritesh Sidhwani), we have come to know that Aamir, in all likelihood, won't begin work on any new film in 2014.
"To start with, Aamir will be busy with his TV show. While the first part will go on air in March, the second one will be aired in mid-2014 and the third part will be telecast towards the end of the year. Plus, his film P.K. is scheduled to be a Christmas release, so he will be busy with that too. He wants to devote a lot of time to Rajkumar's Rajkumar s (Hirani; direc director) film. So he won't have enough time to green-signal a new film and then start shooting for it," says an insider close to the actor.
However, we have learnt that, immediately after the release of P.K., Aamir will start shooting for his new film. "He will decide which film to do by the end of 2014. He is in no hurry to sign new films because he wants to concentrate on his TV show, as well as the promotions of his new film," says the insider. Aamir couldn't be reached for comment.
