Mumbai, May 30 -- Aamir Khan is known for setting box-office records with his films. While Dhoom 3 (2013) and 3 Idiots (2009) garnered phenomenal response in India and internationally, his last film, PK (2014), that released in China on May 22, has reportedly collected $7.3 million (approximately '46.7 crore).
Sources confirm that while actor Jackie Chan's involvement with the promotions helped the film's business, Chinese superstar Baoqiang Wang's dubbing for the China release also created immense buzz.
"I am thrilled with the response to the film in China. It is so nice to know that people across the globe, from different cultures, speaking different languages, connect to the same emotion. It is very reassuring and inspiring."
