Mumbai, Nov. 10 -- Aamir Khan was at his candid best at a promotional event in New Delhi over the weekend. From discussing Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's bittersweet relationship to talking about attending Arpita Khan's wedding later this month, the Bollywood actor opened up about various things.
He even spoke about finding his good friend Salman a life partner. "Woh meri kahan sunte hai, par main koshish zaroor karunga (he doesn't listen to me, but I will definitely try my best)," said Aamir, jokingly, before adding, "I don't know if I can get Salman married, but I will definitely go for his sister's (Arpita) wedding."
Rumour has it that Arpita's wedding invitation reached Shah Rukh before Aamir. When asked if he felt insecure about Salman and Shah Rukh's renewed friendship, Aamir smiled and said, "First of all, I would love for Shah Rukh and Salman's friendship to grow. Secondly, Salman doesn't need to send me an invitation card for his sister's wedding. His sister's wedding is like my sister's wedding. Card aye, na aye, mujhe koi fark nahin padhta (I don't care whether I get a card or not)," said the 49-year-old actor.
Interestingly, Aamir didn't appear as clued into SRK's work strategies. Responding to a question about whether he, too, was planning to adopt extensive promotional strategies similar to what Shah Rukh did for his last release, Aamir said, "Actually I don't know what kind of promotions he did for his film, so I have no idea about that... I don't watch a lot of TV. Besides, every film has its own requirement."
