Mumbai, Dec. 19 -- Aamir Khan has been busy promoting his upcoming film - he has been sporting a bowler hat at events all over the city - but that hasn't stopped him from thinking about his friends and family.
The actor is holding a special screening of Dhoom:3 on the same day as the film's release, December 20. And he has invited his friend, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, for the event.
"Sachin is relatively free now (after his retirement last month) and he's a good friend of Aamir's. So Aamir has invited him for the special screening at a city theatre on Friday," says a source close to the actor. The show will be held late in the evening so that the guests can finish their prior commitments through the day.
The source reveals that Aamir is set to watch the film with his children Junaid, Ira and Azad. His wife Kiran Rao's father, who will be flying in from Bengaluru, and his sisters, who will be coming from Pune, will also join the party. "Azad was reportedly very excited to see the film's promos, so Aamir is taking him for the screening. Many of his friends from the industry have been invited as well," says the source.
The actor is actively looking into the arrangements for the show and has personally invited his guests. When contacted, Aamir's spokesperson confirms the news and says, "To keep the mystery of the movie at its peak, there is no preview or premiere for it. Aamir wants to show his work to his friends and family and has organised the screening for that reason."
