"C Kkompany is like Hera Pheri meeting Munnabhai" - Sachin Yardi

First time director Sachin Yadri can't hide his excitement as the D-day arrives closer. Though he has written two diverse films like Traffic Signal and Kya Kool Hai Hum, both of which had worked at the box office, Sachin plays the double role of a writer as well as a director for the first time with C Kkompany.
"If I have to describe C Kkompany in one line, I would say that it is like Hera Pheri meeting Munnabhai. The film has a strong humor quotient to it but then in its own subtle way also conveys a message", says Sachin who promises that his debut film is very contemporary in the way it has been shot and packaged.
Though Traffic Signal obviously belonged to an altogether different sensibility, are there are any Kya Kool Hai Hum influences in C Kkompany since they both belong to comic genre? "Not at all", Sachin is prompt in replying, "You won't find any traces of a Kya Kool Hai Hum or even the wild humor of Apna Sapna Money Money or One Two Three, both of which though were quite successful at the box office. Here, proceedings are very true to life, just like they happened in films by Sai Paranjpe or Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Of course I can't be comparing myself with such esteemed filmmakers but the point is that C Kkompany is a very clean comedy and does not hit below the belt", clarifies Sachin who has managed to wrap up the project in quick time.
So what's the USP of the film? "It's characters which are very much identifiable", says Sachin without blinking an eyelid, "In fact when you are introduced to Anupam Kher, Tusshar Kapoor and Rajpal Yadav, you would realize that they are common men with common issues which anyone of us could be facing. Though these characters are serious in nature, there are situations around them which lead to funny moments. You end up laughing at the situations, not the characters since they are much above them."
Throwing light upon the much talked about spoof angle (there were reports that the film spoofs Ram Gopal Varma's D), Sachin sets the record straight, "C Kkompany is certainly not a spoof. Also, it is not a film about underworld. It is a film for an entire family and belongs to an altogether diverse genre. If you have loved the humor of films like Katha and Chashme Baddoor, you would at the least like C Kkompany as well."
