This year, a galaxy of Indian movie stars and films is to glitter at the prestigious film festival at Cannes.
While Vidya Balan would be joining the nine-member jury alongside the likes of Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman and Ang Lee, Amitabh Bachchan’s The Great Gatsby will be the opening film at the festival.
Bachchan’s daughter-in Law, Aishwarya Rai, who is a red carpet regular at Cannes, will accompany Big B at the festival, which takes place from May 15 - 26.
Adding to the list are the filmmakers of Bombay Talkies, which will see a screening at the coveted fest as it celebrates 100 years of Indian cinema. They include Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap.
