Bipasha: 'Link-ups don't bother me'

NEW DELHI, Dec. 29 -- She plays a femme fatale in AbbasMustan's upcoming film Players, but in real life, actor Bipasha Basu confesses she's far from mysterious. For some time now, the actor has been in the news for her proximity to actors Shahid Kapoor and Rana Daggubati.

But, Bips is completely unfazed. "You will continue to see me with Shahid and Rana. If people want to continue discussing us, they are free to do so. It's not going to stop me from having a good equation with them or put an end to what I do in my personal space," says Bipasha.

Bipasha, who was in a relationship with exboyfriend John Abraham for nine years, insists she has always been "very responsible in relationships" besides being a great partner and a girlfriend. She adds, "I know I have been a fabulous partner. I don't need to prove it. So, if I am in a relationship, I am going to give it the respect it is due. But till I don't speak about it, nothing's going on."

Recently, Bipasha was also linked to her Singularity co-star Josh Hartnett. But she says it hasn't bothered her since she has "very thick skin like a rhino." She adds: "As long as it isn't under the belt and doesn't harm anyone, such stories don't bother me. If people are going to spot me with other known people and read too much into it, I really can't help it."

What makes Bipasha happy is her upcoming film, Players. "The kind of action I would like to do in a film is yet to come. I want to try hand-to-hand combat stunts, only then would I call it a real action film. Players is more larger-than-life stunts, blowups and train sequences. It's a large-scale film, which is exciting to see on the big screen," she says.
