Producer Bharat Shah has sent a legal notice to director Ram Gopal Varma over his dues. RGV's Satya sequel might also be in trouble as Shah, who was the producer of the film is reportedly not keen on giving the go-ahead, reports a daily.
Shah has lodged the complaint with Association of Motion Pictures and Television Programme Producers (AMPTPP). Ramu got Rs. 10 crore from Shah and the amount has doubled over the years. The filmmaker apparently has refused to pay the interest.
Atul Mankame, advocate for AMPTPP told the daily: "Mr Shah had lodged a complaint against Mr Varma to recover his money. The filmmaker had responded by filing a suit against him in the City Civil Court, Dindoshi. Last year, the Honourable Court referred the matter to AMPTPP.
