Mumbai, July 2 -- It's a well-known fact that Bollywood stars have an international fan base. Anushka Sharma, who was in Belgium recently, can vouch for that fact. While shooting in Bruges for Rajkumar Hirani's P.K., the actor reportedly went out of her way to make some admirers happy.
During the shoot, several fans from Belgium and Germany would drop by and want to take pictures with her. But since Hirani and his crew had prohibited the film's cast from doing so, Anushka was unable to oblige them.
"Anushka's fans were following her through the entire Belgium schedule, but since it was production protocol to not take pictures, the fans were disheartened. She didn't want to disappoint them, so she made up for that by spending as much time as possible with them in between shots and even during her lunch break," says a source from the sets of the film.
Not just that, the actor even invited a few of her fans into her vanity van. "She was very gracious and called them inside during lunch time. She spent time talking and signing autographs, and ensured that they all left smiling," adds the source.
In turn, the fans too presented Anushka with a personal letter and chocolates, which she polished off in no time. Despite repeated attempts, Anushka couldn't be reached for a comment.
