Since her debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Anushka Sharma has emerged as one of the most wanted actors in the Hindi film industry. And 2013 looks like a promising year for her. We hear that the actor, who since the beginning has wanted to work with Imtiaz Ali (who
last directed Rockstar, 2011), is upset that she may not get a chance to do that soon.
A source says, “Anushka has a packed schedule for all of next year. She kick-starts the year with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and she’s already busy promoting it. After that, she will start with Rajkumar Hirani’s project, P.K. with Aamir Khan and shortly after she will start shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for Anurag Kashyap’s
period film, Bombay Velvet.”
Anushka, the source says, has no time to breathe and with all these films taking up her schedule, she also has brand endorsements to deal with.
The source adds that the actor already has 10 top-of-the-line brands in her kitty and is about to sign on a couple more. “By the end of this month, she will take on two more brands,” the source says.
But above all, we’re told that Anushka is upset that she cannot work with Imtiaz anytime soon. The source says, “Ever since she started acting, Anushka has always wanted to work with Imtiaz, but looking at her packed schedule for next year, it’s next to impossible.
Meanwhile, the source also rubbishes rumours of Anushka being considered for Sajid Nadidwala’s next, Kick, with Salman Khan. “Anushka would definitely love to work with.
