Mumbai, Oct. 11 -- Get set to welcome a new Kapoor in Bollywood. Siddhanth Kapoor, son of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, is making his debut with Sanjay Gupta's upcoming, Shootout At Wadala, starring John Abraham and Anil Kapoor. His sister, Shraddha Kapoor, debuted in Teen Patti last year.

"Siddhanth has always loved Gupta's stylish and action-oriented films. So, he was keen to work with him. And once he expressed a desire to team up with the filmmaker, the latter agreed immediately. After all, Sanjay and Shakti (Kapoor) have been friends for a long time," says a source close to Gupta.

In Gupta's action adventure, Siddhanth plays a sharp shooter, who will be a key member of the gang led by dreaded don, Manya Surve, played by John. Apparently, Siddhanth's 'wicked character' will be seen cracking crazy jokes. Confirms Gupta: "Yes, we are introducing Siddhanth. He has grown up in front of me. And I worked with his father in my first film, Aatish (1994). So, he is like a family member. Plus, he is a very talented and good-looking boy."

It started when Siddhanth called up Gupta and expressed a desire to meet him. "When we met, he told me that he is huge fan of my kind of films and would love to be launched by me." Sanjay agreed and cast Siddhanth. "Two days before Shakti entered the Bigg Boss house, we met up and he told me that he couldn't have asked for a better script for his son," says Gupta, who plans to get Siddhanth trained by gun wranglers on how to use and effectively handle firearms. The film goes on floors in December. The sequel to Shootout At Lokhandwala (2007) will trace the story of Mumbai's first recorded encounter, the killing of gangster Surve.
