If all goes well Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth will share screen space in filmmaker Puri Jagannath's next. The director has already approached Rajinikanth who's excited about the idea, reports Subhash K Jha for Mumbai Mirror.
The actors have worked together in Hum, Andha Kanoon and Geraftaar before.
Confirming the report, Puri Jagannath told the tabloid, "Yes, I met Rajini Sir in Chennai. I've wanted to work with him for the longest time. So far I hadn't dared to approach him because I could not think of a role that would do him justice. It's been my life-long dream to direct Amitji and Rajini Sir."
"Rajinikanth was excited by the idea of coming together with Big B again. He feels Puri, is the right person to pull off this casting coup," a source informed the tabloid.
Working with two superstars would be a challenge for the filmmaker and he's ready to take it up. "It's a challenge that I would like to take on. Let's see how it goes," adds Puri.
