Adlabs Cinemas opens first theatre in Gurgaon
| Gurgaon, Aug 13 (IANS) Adlabs Cinemas, part of the Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG), Wednesday announced the opening of its first cinema in Gurgaon at Ansal Plaza in Palam Vihar. The first screening will be held Aug 15. The new three-screen cinema with 802 seats is in proximity to densely populated residential sectors in the city, said a release issued by the company. "Gurgaon, being one of Delhi's four major satellite cities, has grown tremendously over the past few years. We are excited to enter this vibrant and dynamic city and offer the people of Gurgaon the world class facilities that they expect," said Adlabs Cinemas chief operating officer Tushar Dhingra. Adlabs Cinemas presently has 179 screens spread over 69 properties nationwide. It is also building up a sizable international presence. Having recently acquired majority stake in the Malaysia-based Lotus Five Star Cinemas, it will operate a 51-screen cinema chain in Malaysia. |
