Aamir Khan works overtime!

MUMBAI, Oct. 8 -- Aamir Khan might be busy shooting for director Vijay Krishna Acharya's Dhoom:3 in Chicago, USA, but that doesn't mean he isn't keeping tabs on the developments of his upcoming release, Talaash.

The producers of the film - Excel Entertainment - have planned a grand music launch towards the end of this month. Since Aamir does not want to upset the schedule of the Yash Raj film, he is working overtime to accommodate a quick two-day trip back to the city for the event.

Confirming the news, the film's spokesperson says, "Aamir wants to be there for this important event. So yes, he is flying in (from Chicago) just for a day." Apparently, Talaash's director Reema Kagti and producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani had resigned to the fact that Aamir will not be able to make an appearance at the event. But now, they are thrilled.

Also starring Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Talaash is a crime thriller. Aamir plays the lead role of a cop in the film, which will be his next big release after almost three years. He was last seen in 3 Idiots (2009) and Dhobi Ghat (2010).
