Krishna Aur Kans, a 3D animation film detailing Lord Krishna’s childhood adventures, is slated to hit theatres on August 3, a week prior to Janmashtami. Directed by Vikram Veturi, the movie chronicles Lord Krishna’s early years, from his birth as the nemesis of his tyrannical uncle Kans,
to his combat against demons at the age of 10.
The movie, India’s first 3D animation film, is being released by Reliance Entertainment.
“Krishna Aur Kans is India’s first animation film to be released in 3D and is sure to bring families together in cinemas this Janmashtami.
It is a captivating story based on Lord Krishna’s early life and the victory of good over evil,” Reliance Entertainment, CEO, Sanjeev Lamba said.
The first look of the animated film will be out in cinemas from May 11 onwards.
